July 11, 2026 Market Highlights

The July 11 market was another fantastic Saturday filled with community spirit, local shopping, and lively entertainment. While the morning started under cloudy skies with the chance of a few passing showers, the weather held for most of the market, making for comfortable temperatures and a great day to stroll through the vendor booths. By the end of the morning, the parking lot was bustling with shoppers carrying home fresh produce, handmade goods, and delicious treats.

This week's market showcased an incredible variety of local vendors offering farm-fresh vegetables, baking, artisan products, handcrafted gifts, and so much more. It was wonderful to see families, friends, and visitors spending the morning supporting local businesses and connecting with the people who grow, bake, and make right here in the Bulkley Valley.

One of the highlights of the day was the energetic performance by the Smithers Slavic Dancers. Their colourful costumes, lively music, and traditional dances drew a crowd and added an exciting cultural celebration to the market. It was a performance enjoyed by visitors of all ages and a wonderful reminder of the vibrant talent and diversity within our community.

The market was filled with smiling faces, great conversations, and a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Whether visitors came for their weekly groceries, to discover a new artisan, or simply to enjoy the entertainment, there was something for everyone.
